The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting Province Leadership in communicating with the Sisters and Associates as well as Ursuline donors and benefactors; serves as a member of the Development Team; understands and supports the mission of the Ursuline Sisters of Tildonk as fundamental to all activities
Duties Include:
- Maintain office equipment and technology, office vendors, and supplies
- Answer all incoming communication
- Coordinate as-needed communication with Sisters, Associates, and others
- Collaborate with Events and Communications Managers on direct mailings, donation campaign materials, event printing, etc.
- Assist with writing and submitting grant applications and reports
- Maintain donor database including (but not limited to) donation tracking, distribution lists, donor acknowledgements and tax receipts, and donor profiles
- Maintain Province calendar
- Assist with community events as directed by Events Manager
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by Province Leader
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent (3+ years) experience in a non-profit environment
- Working knowledge of Blackbaud/Etapestry software and MS Office applications
- Exceptional writing and proofreading skills
- Prior experience with mass-mailings and bulk printing
- Prior knowledge/understanding of religious orders and the Catholic church preferred
